Internally displaced and challenged by hypertension, 75-year-old Hayat Yasin has benefitted from the health care she’s received from the Mobile clinic deployed by WHO and funded by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She shares her story and her deep gratitude with WHO.

“My name is Hayat Yasin. I am 75 years old. This is the first time I am accessing this type of clinic. I have high blood pressure and cough. I am an Internally Displaced Person from Sinjar Mountain; I lost all my livelihood and house before being displaced to Dohuk. In this camp I live with 10 family members in a shared tent. I have got a good service today and I am happy for the health services that are being provided in this mobile clinic. I have been examined by a doctor and received the medicines as prescribed.

I am very thankful to the doctor who has treated me, WHO, the donors (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) and the Directorate of Health for this support”

Many others like Hayat continue to receive medical services through the deployment of 12 mobile medical clinics throughout Iraq.
